How the cards are made, when they ship, and how to reach Sarah.

Damaged in the mail? Send a photo within 7 days of delivery.
Are the cards printed?
No. Every card is hand-painted by Sarah in watercolor and ink when you order it, then signed. Nothing in the shop is a print.
Will mine look exactly like the photo?
Very close. Because each one is painted by hand, small details like brushstrokes and color blooms will differ a little. That makes yours a true original.
What size are the cards?
A2: 4.25 x 5.5 inches folded, on heavyweight watercolor paper, blank inside, with a matching envelope.
Why are some cards $10 and others $16?
Price follows painting time. Simple lettered designs are $10, standard designs $13, and detailed scenes like the reading nook or flower cart $16.
How long until my order ships?
Cards ship in 3–5 business days. Small original paintings and custom pieces take 5–7 business days.
How much is shipping?
$1.50 for the first card and $0.50 for each additional card. Orders of $35 and up ship free within the US.
Can I order for Christmas?
Yes. Order by [order-by date] for delivery before Christmas.
What kinds of custom work does Sarah do?
Name and milestone cards, scripture paintings, family Christmas cards, memorial keepsakes and verse bookmarks. Fan-art birthday cards are available on this website only. She doesn't paint portraits of houses, pets or people.
Are you on Etsy too?
Yes, as FathersJoyStudio. Most cards are listed both here and on Etsy. Fan art is only offered here.
What is your return policy?
Because every piece is painted to order, we can't accept returns. If something arrives damaged, send a photo within 7 days and Sarah will paint you a new one.
